And…we’re back! As the covid-19 case numbers continue to decline, TWO will once again take the stage and present an extraordinary piece of LIVE THEATER! Precautions will be taken. MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED. But it’s time we all got back to doing what we love! Director Brooklyn Thompson and actress Nicol Maurer will do just that with the one-person show, EVERY BRILLIANT THING.
This unique comedy-drama by Duncan MacMillan and Johnny Donahoe addresses issues of suicide, family, despair and love in ways that have earned it the label “The Funniest Play About Depression You’ll Ever See”! Incorporating storytelling, audience participation, and improvisation, this remarkable play provides an unforgettable theater experience, as well as a thought provoking confrontation of the ups and downs of life.
There will a talkback/Q&A opportunity with the actress, director, and River Valley Behavioral Health Counselor after each performance for interested audience members.
EVERY BRILLIANT THING opens November 12, and runs through the 21st at THE EMPRESS THEATER. Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7:30; Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $18.00 for adults, $12.00 for students. For members of TWO, tickets are half price. To purchase tickets to this lovely and inspiring production, call (270) 683-5333 or log onto theatreworkshop.org.
EVERY BRILLIANT THING is kindly sponsored by RIVER VALLEY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH.
