For students ages 13-19, the TWO Teen Usher Corps is a great way to become even more involved with the community theatre.
Teen Ushers volunteer at TWO shows – helping patrons, selling concessions, providing a safe and pleasant experience for the audience. They learn about behind-the-scenes workings of the theatre, while acquiring skills in customer service and presentation.
Each month, TWO's teen ushers are invited to exclusive classes with theatre professionals for training in such areas as stage combat, makeup effects, musical comedy, mime, magic, and monologue preparation, and audition techniques.
Ushers are invited to sit in on rehearsals and will have the opportunity to meet with play directors before each show. In the Spring, the Teen Usher troupe will produce and present their own show, working with one of the TWO directors.
