Summer Drama Camp
For students with theatre experience … children with a dramatic flair … or anyone looking for fun summer activities and new friends, the TWO Summer Drama Camp is a fun opportunity to learn and grow.
On stage and backstage, students will grow and learn new skills in a safe, fun-filled environment – while participating in hands-on activities and games.
June 9-13, Grades 2-6
Intro to Theatre and Acting
Designed for younger students, this introduction to the world of theatre and performance helps students improve their knowledge of the stage, their confidence, and performing skills. Using theatre games and stage work, we’ll develop vocabulary and build a performance consisting of monologues and duo scenes.
June 16-20, Grades 2-6
In this week of classes, we will create a full production. Students will be guided through the design of simple sets, costumes, lights, direction, as well as creating characters for brief scenes. The Friday performance will showcase the complete collaboration.
Grades 7-12, June 23-27
One Acts & Ten Minute Scenes
An opportunity for older students to learn the basics of direction, design, and acting for an end of the session production. Students will learn, memorize, design, and perform scenes in the TWO Trinity Center
