In April 2011, TWO purchased this historic Opryhouse on Frederica Street. Built in 1912, this building was one of the first free-standing movie theatres in the country. Thorghout the last century it has always been filled with music and laughter, artists and audiences – first as the Empress and Malco movie theatres, then as home to Goldie's Best Little Opryhouse.

TWO plans to continue that long tradition of quality entertainment. Today, even as we use the building for plays and concerts, we are working hard to renovate the 100-year-old building into an elegant, comfortable multi-use performing arts center the enire region can cherish.
