Fairytale Trail 2021

Attention all youth actors, grades 2nd through 12th grades!! Due to the success if last year’s inaugural Fairy Tale Trail, we are excited to announce we’ll be doing it again this September. To participate, we would like you to create a monologue representing any fairy tale/folktale/tall tale character that you like. (try to avoid famous Disney characters) The monologue, or dialogue, if you would like a partner, should be between 2-5 minutes in length. This will be performed in the Pioneer Village at Yellow Creek Park on September 24th and 25th. All youth actors will provide their own costumes. Get creative!! We hope to use between 10-13 characters. Deadline for submissions will be August 1st. We had an absolute blast last year! We will also be interested in having around 5-6 guides for each night. Just email Mr. Thad at [email protected] with any questions, and/or submissions. Or call us at 270-683-5333, M-F, 10am-2pm. Minimal rehearsal time! Only 2 performances! We hope to hear from a bunch of you soon! We can’t wait!!
